5th Annual El Porto Surf Contest
Saturday, January 31st | 7am | El Porto Beach
The 5th Annual El Porto Surf Contest returns to the shore on Saturday, January 31st, celebrating the local surf culture, businesses, and community that define El Porto.
A proud grassroots event and part of the South Bay Boardriders Surf Series, the contest features returning champions, invited Porto surf and cultural figures, and prizes contributed entirely by Highland Avenue businesses. Raffles held during the event will benefit the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation, supporting adaptive surfing and ocean access at El Porto Beach.
Built by the neighborhood, for the neighborhood, the El Porto Surf Contest remains a true celebration of local surf, creativity, and connection.
North Manhattan Beach is a gorgeous, laid-back, family friendly, surf community in Southern California located just 10 minutes south of LAX.
Visit El Porto Beach, you can ride a bike along the coast, surf, immerse yourself in a game of beach volleyball, play in the sand, or just soak up the sun.
